* This film along with [[Vigilante]] are two of my favorite 80s grindhouse crime films that both feature Robert Forster and Joe Spinnell. When her husband and son are executed by drug dealers, a woman named Christine Holloway (Nancy Kwan) barely escapes their attack but her psychological trauma forces her to later be committed to a mental hospital. It turns out her stay at the funny farm wasn't successful because upon release she plans to find her family's killers and get rid of them. During her initial attack on the scumbags who work at an auto garage, an unassuming local cabbie Jason Walk (Robert Forster) thats given her a ride finds himself caught in the violent predicament. Jason then tries to help Christine out while dealing with his own shady ties to the underworld. The two begin to develop a stormy relationship on the lam as they try to evade the killers who are now out looking for both of them. A L.A. set grindhouse gem! --Pete
