When I think of "grindhouse cinema", certain movies immediately come to mind and Vigilante is definitely one of them. Fred "The Hammer" Williamson teams up with Robert Forster and a gang of blue collar buddies to clean up the nasty crime ridden streets of NYC. Grimy, violent, unrelenting and bleak, this film is the authentic real deal. --Pete
