- This is a film recounting the circumstances leading up the the infamous St. Valentine's Day Massacre. The film is narrated to give the film a more documentary feel. We're given facts about each of the main players in the different Chicago mob organizations that were battling each other. Jason Robards stars as Al Capone and gives one of the most over the top film performances ever. It gives the film energy when it really needs it. --Popeye Pete
