  • This was director Jim Wynorski's first film. It was intended by Henry Plitt, the late owner of Plitt Theatres, as a tax loss, but Wynorski didn't know that at the time.
  • A poster for the film is shown hanging in the restaurant in Chopping Mall, which Wynorski also directed.
  • The collapse of Plitt Theatres left the ownership of the film in question for some time. Wynorski finally reached the new owners and regained the rights, with the film being released on DVD in 2014.
