The Klansman (1974, USA) is a controversial Crime film directed by Terrence Young that takes critical aim at racism and race violence but bears many blaxploitation and hixploitation hallmarks. The film has drawn various criticism due to its shoddy craftsmanship resulting a very mixed message impression on viewers, its explicitness and the various behind the scenes scandals that seem to have plagued its production.
