- Not to be confused with the much superior TV movie Helter Skelter made in 1976.
- Bonniwell used to be in the legendary Late 60's band The Music Machine ("Talk Talk," 1966). His contributions to the soundtrack include versions of songs he wrote originally for the band including "The Eagle Never Hunts the Fly," the original version being the 1967 single.
