Established in July 2007, The Deuce got its name from the slang term coined for New York City's 42nd Street where many dilapidated theaters known as "Grindhouses" played the kinds of genre films we are covering and celebrating here. This is a site dedicated to specifically international Exploitation genre films from the 1930s - mid to late 1980s. Our main goal at The Deuce is to include as much information about that bygone era as we can and make this the ULTIMATE online classic Exploitation film database.
