BLU RAY COMMENTS: The Farmer is a film that had been essentially lost to time, no VHS or DVDs were available since its release in 1977. After 25 years of searching for a copy I managed to see a badly damaged version in 2021. Thanks to Scorpion Releasing, a brand new restored high definition edition is finally available and after watching the film, I can say it looks spectacular. A solid crime/revenge thriller in the vein of Rolling Thunder and The Exterminator that film geeks will want to see. - Pete
