SYNOPSIS The Evil Dead Companion traces the history of the Evil Dead movie trilogy (The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, going back to director Sam Raimi, actor Bruce Campbell and producer Rob Tapert's earliest Super-8 films.
COMMENTS Absolutely essential. There are some great stories and pictures here, including a bit about how a distributor suggested such absurd alternate titles as These Bitches Are Witches, and Raimi's three rules for horror movies: 1.The Innocent Must Suffer. 2.The Guilty Must Be Punished. 3.You Must Taste Blood To Be A Man.
