  • [Director Trademark] (Chia-Liang Liu): Opening credits show a demonstration of martial arts against an empty backdrop.
  • Despite the US title for the film (The Master Killer), the idea of taking a life would be abhorrent to a real Shaolin or Buddhist monk.
