  • With Suspiria Dario Argento took Italian style pure cinema to its Nth degree. This supernatural giallo isn't so much a story as it is a Technicolor nightmare. Its essentially a film about visuals. Although I love the set pieces, atmosphere and the incredibly vibrant use of colors, its not really one of my favorite Argento films. I find it pretty boring overall. I'd much rather watch The Bird With The Crystal Plumage or Deep Red. I would still highly recommend this film to horror fans. Everyone should experience this movie at least once! - Pete
