  • And there goes my unquestioned trust for Toei. Why would the greatest film studio on earth even bother to produce such a worthless soft core romp? This Ikuo Sekimoto film has a non-existent and terribly boring plot, and not a single interesting character. There’s one great line of dialogue, a single scene of good comedy, and some nice music here and there but that’s it. The film doesn’t really even manage to disguise itself as high class production - which is something many of Toei’s exploitation films have succeeded in – because the smutty content and unambitious storyline neutralize the effect of the random pretty images and decent production values. Teaches you to think twice before you spend 4500 yen on a Ikuo Sekimoto film. --Hung Fist
