The Tarantino Connection
One of Quentin Tarantino's favorite films whose title was used for his DVD distribution label Rolling Thunder Pictures. In Kill Bill, the criminal gang, "The Acuna Boys" that appear in Rolling Thunder are mentioned. "Acuna Boys" is also the name of the fictitious Tex-Mex restaurant "advertised" between the fake trailers for Werewolf Women of the SS and Don't in Grindhouse. In the film Inglourious Basterds, Lt. Aldo Raine is named after Maj. Charles Rane.
