SPECIAL FEATURES: One of the other cool aspects of these DVDs by Animeigo is the special subtitles to explain certain Japanese words. You will learn about Japanese culture as well as experiencing a really entertaining Samurai action film. Includes original trailers for Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance and White Heaven in Hell, Interactive Program Notes.

PICTURE: Presented in (2:35:1) Anamorphic Widescreen. By starting with a brand new 35 mm print, Animeigo has enhanced the film's original color and reduced films grain and noise. The result is a crystal clear picture, with colors that are bright and eye catching. This newly restored DVD transfer rivals the original theatrical print! If you want to see what ALL DVD transfers should look like, definitely get the Lone Wolf and Cub series by Animeigo!

SOUND: Dolby Digital 5.1. The sounds are loud and clear and will come through just great on your home theater system. You'll get every grunt, growl, slash and blood spurt in ear splitting quality! I also really love the ending theme song sung by star Wakayama Tomisaburo who plays Ogami Itto in the film. Its a triumphant pop style song that really brings the emotion up even higher as the film ends. Excellent!
