- Star William Shatner secured a bit role for his then-wife Marcy Lafferty as the curvaceous, promiscuous hotel clerk.
- Scenes which appeared to be in a nightclub were filmed in the old Bartke's Dinner Theater on State Route 60 (near Tampa), a dinner theater whose stage dropped down from the rafters.
- The film was shot in fifteen days. Shatner worked on only ten of them.
- It was Shatner's idea for his character Matt Stone to smoke small cigars.
