Death Wish 3/Comments

• Vigilante Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) returns to New York City's worst urban area to visit his old friend and finds himself smack dab in the middle of an all out war between a ruthless gang of thugs led by Manny Fraker (Gavan O'Herlihy) and the innocent citizens. This time, Kersey makes a one of a kind deal with a local police chief (Ed Lauter) and gets to work as an undercover agent/executioner, providing intel and taking out all the scum that are terrorizing and preying on the people without repercussions. This Death Wish film is one of my favorites in the series because the thugs are in almost every scene. As Kersey says "they're like cockroaches." This helps the film to never run out of steam. There's always something bad happening, from robberies to rape. It's anarchy in the streets. The fun of it is seeing Kersey in full terminator mode with his elephant hunting gun taking out bad guys left and right. Fans of the series will surely enjoy this one! - Pete - 2/19/08
