Background
After the success of his cult splatter horror film The Evil Dead Director Sam Raimi and star Bruce Campbell teamed up again for this offbeat screwball crime comedy. Joel Coen who had edited The Evil Dead and was inspired to make his own low budget movie Blood Simple co-wrote the screenplay with brother Ethan and Raimi.
