Born Boris Claudio Schifrin, Lalo Schifrin (b. June 21, 1932, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a world-renowned film and television composer, pianist and conductor who has worked on everything from the Mission: Impossible TV series to The Exorcist to the Jackie Chan Rush Hour films. He was inducted into the Online Film and Television Association Hall of Fame in 2023.
He has won four Grammy Awards, five BMI Film & TV Awards, and received an Honorary Oscar in 2019.
