DVD
From The Grindhouse Cinema Database
Introduction
With the closings of Grindhouses & Drive-Ins in the United States and the overall changes in popular film distribution across the globe, we've had to learn to enjoy watching these great films in the comfort of our own homes. First was the VHS boom, this was where many of us were introduced to classic exploitation cinema. In the 21st century we now have the digital video format which has created a huge market for releasing hundreds of lesser known cult-exploitation films. Our main goal here at the GCDb is to provide film fans with as much info on these films as we can and since they are now being given a new life thanks to DVD & Blu Ray, we feel it's necessary to cover the latest releases. We may not have every film listed but our site is continually under construction so we urge you to keep checking back with us for more updates on these titles.
