To cope with the growing amount of articles and to keep The Deuce organized, we need to make sure that the structure of the pages make sense and allow for a multitude of expansion. I suggest to give each film one main page with "Name of Film (Year)" as the page title, using the most common AKA title the film goes by. On that page, the film's main technical and meta data are listed, such as cast and crew, year, companies, length, country, alternate titles. There can be one poster and plot synopsis, maybe a limited amount of pictures and essential links (imdb for example). More specific information should be "outsourced" into sub-pages (that don't have to be technical mediawiki /subpages, but for example "Name of Film DVDs"), that hold information about available DVDs and their features, cover pictures, amazon links and links to reviews. Seperate pages for pictures from the film, posters, media, reviews and trivia. Those subpages are linked to from the film's main page, and there are links back to the main page from the subpages, to make navigation consistent. The subpages are categorized respectively as for example Category:DVD or Category:Posters, so that a posters category lists all available film posters pages, etc. To emphasize the existence of the "discussion" pages (that ALL pages in The Deuce have), at the end of a film's main page, there could be another, bold type link called "comment on this film or post your reviews" which links to the discussion page. DVD reviews and film reviews should be independent, full page seperate pages, linked to from a films review and dvd supage, and also categorized as for example "Category:DVD reviews", and called accordingly, for example "Name of Movie DVD Review (by J. Doe)". There is a possibility of categorizing those user reviews as for example "Category:Doe's reviews" and categorize that category and others as "Category:community reviews".

TO BE CONTINUED. Last update: Feb 7, 08.

Getting there!

I think these are great ideas. Right now I think we're on the right track. Ive tried to condense the site down as much as I can. I think until we have a real large amount of info on all the pages we can keep it going as is. We have already started setting up separate DVD review pages, so thats good.

It would be cool if we could have an actual extension that would let us leave a comment on each film like a blog has too.

Seb, maybe you could set up a sample page to show us what youd like the site to eventually look like. Im cool with your ideas as always. And Im sure we can go with them. Thanks!

Sebastian? wenn du das hier liest schreib mir mal ne Email an: shidden@aol.com rest reden wir dann da, weil jemand, den namen will ich jetzt nicht schreiben löscht immer alles usw. danke.

Reminder: we dont want to add titles after 86/87. Thats getting into the post Grindhouse era. --PopeyePete 22:37, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Now that we have the subpages, the Poster section is another thing Im gonna have to do over. Ill have to move all of them. --PopeyePete 23:39, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

actually i wouldn't move them. where we have seperate pages, i'd just leave it like it is. --Seb 23:43, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

ok, i was just bringing it up cuz you are adding them to the subpages. --PopeyePete 23:54, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

yeah i'm just so used to that ;-) doesn't mean that's the right way though --Seb 00:02, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

ok, no prob --PopeyePete 00:13, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

thanks for adding the IB DVD cover to my review. I wanted to add some pics but couldnt think of what to use. nice! --PopeyePete 16:42, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

On the other Shogun Assassin movies, we could just put the titles under the AKA sections on the appropriate original LW&C film pages. --PopeyePete 21:46, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for getting the German posters. I was gonna do those but I wasnt sure which movie numbers they went under --PopeyePete 11:59, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

added a little flash banner on your untamed cinema page. if you dont like it you can remove it. if you want anything specific added to it i can do that too. --PopeyePete 18:11, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Just a thought: If you dont want to do full reviews of those films on your list, you can always add Opinions like on the SWDB. I like that idea! --PopeyePete 20:51, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

We should add some of the series posters to the new schoolgirl article too. --PopeyePete 00:10, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

The Devil's Female and The Devil In Magdalena are the same movie, look at the IMDB page. There's no need to have two separate pages. --JKData 13:48, 24 July 2021

Maddalena is this one https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067376/reference just becaue they share one AKA title and imdb mixes up posters doesnt make them the same movie. different director, different actors, etc
