- Oliver Reed's alcoholism presented all kinds of problems during filming. He would often show up to the set inebriated. Director Sergio Sollima said that Reed would be easy to work with until around 2 or 3 in the afternoon.
- Fabio Testi said that he did all the stunts himself, including a difficult roof-jumping stunt that the stuntman wasn't able to do himself.
