- Kaki Hunter's final theatrical appearance before quitting the movie industry.
- Bob Clark was invited to write and direct a third Porky's film. He was interested, but also busy directing Rhinestone (1984) and said that he would have to think about a good storyline for the film. The producers didn't want to wait for him to do this however, and hired Ziggy Steinberg to write a screenplay for the film. Clark hated the screenplay and was furious that the producer had it written behind his back; as a result, he refused to have anything to do with the film.
