- Night Of The Living Dead is the first feature film ever made in Pittsburgh.
- The film premeired in October, 2nd, 1968. Variety magazine considered it at the time as a, "film of unreleived orgy of sadism and amateurism of the first order."
- The film was originaly entitled Night Of The Flesh Eaters, but was later changed by the request of another production company who had a film with the same title.
- Actor/Director/Make Up FX Artist Tom Savini was initially signed from a local high school to provide the special effects and make-up for Night Of The Living Dead, but was later called upon by the military to serve in Vietnam.
