- The experimental rock band Negativland sampled Estus Pirkle's "Communism is good... Communism is good... Communism is good... Christianity is stupid... Christianity is stupid... Christianity is stupid... Give up... Give up... Give up..." sermon for their song "Christianity Is Stupid" on their album Escape From Noise. It later led to a media prank which produced material for them to sample for their subsequent Helter Stupid album.
