- Filmed in 1984. Was shelved during 1984 until an independent distributer came along and released the film in a limited theatrical run in January 1986.
- Extras were given free pizza and T-shirts (limited quantities) for their participation.
- Filming took place during Spring Break, 1984. All of the students seen throughout the film were extras that were attending the local High School as seen in the film.
- 20th Century Fox, New Line Cinema and Universal Studios all passed on the film. Cannon films was interested, however, they only wanted to distribute the feature, Direct to Video.
