  • DVD COMMENTS: Being the oldest movie in the Ishii collection the remastered Japanese dvds shows a little more imperfections than the others (which all look extremely good). There’s some minor print damage and scratches every now and then (almost all of them lasting for one frame only), and colour shifts appear sometimes at the end of the scene (usually lasting a second or two). I didn’t find these problems distracting at all, and otherwise the print is pristine. The colours are very good and edge enhancement practically doesn't exist. A very pleasing progressive transfer for a 40 year old movie. The sound is fine, too. No subtitles are included as usual. Extras consist of the original trailer and picture gallery.
