- This film, along with 1936's Reefer Madness, was among one of the few films of it's type released before the Marijuana laws of 1937 for all of the United States.
- Hildegarde Stadie is the wife of Dwain Esper. She appears in the film in a cameo in a Roadhouse scene. She has wrote a number of Esper's films, mainly through The 30's.
- Pat Carlyle was in the Exploitation/Roadshow business as a Director (Polygamy, 1936) and a Producer/Director (Hitchhike to Hell, 1937).
