(Note: This film, or possible re-edit of a film available in it's full version, is for now possibly Lost, and the Comment is of a historical note for the Database) To those who watch the galleries on Something Weird Video DVDs, the one-sheet to this possibly "Lost" film may be familiar. Still, for some reason, the plot makes this sound like a re-edit of the legendary The Price of Sin, also known as The Doctor Says, Der Arzt stellt fest and Angeklagt nach 218, cut down to 60 Minutes from 87 to make it look like an "All New!!!" Roadshow extravaganza - If Donn Davison could take David F. Friedman's She Freak and call it Asylum of the Insane with a cheap 3-D insert, anything could happen in the world of the Roadhshow. The story surrounds two women, one who's raped and one who's married but got "in trouble" by another man, both looking for an abortionist after being refused by their local Dr. Martin (The Price of Sin has a character named Dr. Maurer...I can imagine some bad voice over happening here!) who are referred to one by the doctor's nurse with one winding up with a infection and the other dead from a hemorrhage, leading up to the doctor finding out about this illegal abortionist. This is the type of film that makes me wonder if Donn Davison, the Roadshow legend of The 60's and 70's, presented this title at some time.
